My favorite devotional
I’ve read several devotionals, but this one by far is my favorite. I enjoy early morning reading to start my day. This devotional, so rich in Scriptures, really gets me going to start a conversation with our Creator, and is exactly what I need to help me grow my relationship with my Savior…Jesus. Love it! Also, a perfect gift for family and friends.

Beautiful and Inviting
A lovely volume of devotionals filled with encouragement and inspiration. It’s very clearly written and arranged in an easy-to-read format. I appreciate how the author used a variety of Bible translations to enhance each day’s devotional. I look forward to reading it every morning.

The Word of God
In this world that so often feels full of intolerance and hate, I cling to one lifeline. God, our father, Jesus Christ, His son, and the Holy Spirit. I know without a doubt He works in my life. One of the blessings I have received lately was the urge to purchase this devotional.
I read the introduction twice. So much of it made sense to me. Touched me. Taught me. I started reading the daily entries. I read through an entire week’s worth. I then went back the next morning and started over with day 1, reading it in the morning and evening as well. I got even more out of each entry as I read them again. One of the most powerful things I got out of day 1 was, “….it’s my Word and my promises that will come quickly to your mind in times of need or trouble.” A simple answer to find the peace and direction I am in need of so often.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
It is clear that this devotional emphasizes the importance of trusting the Lord. Listening to His Word. Not the words of man, not your own experiences, but only the Word of God. Let’s all go back to the basics and begin again. Remembering how loved we are as God gave his only Son to save us.
The devotional is clearly written. The author has, without a doubt, done a lot of research. Mr. Falk has been able to clearly show the reader his complete devotion to God through his writing. The entries are supported with verses from, not just one, but many translations of the Bible. I find that technique invaluable.
I highly recommend this devotional. Now, back to reading.
